Heerman-Sandås-Rantala is a skilled Finnish trio that takes its audiences on a fast-paced journey through the world of Latin jazz, following in the footsteps of such greats as Egberto Gismontis, Hermeto Pascoalis and Chick Corea.

Antti Heerman is considered among the foremost jazz and tango violinists in Finland and was elected jazz violinist of the year consecutively from 1997 to 2000 by Jazzrytmi magazine.

Henrik Sandås is a Finnish bandoneonist and composer whose repertoire includes tango and tango Nuevo as well as baroque, contemporary art music, jazz and improvisational styles. His sensitive and heartfelt compositions have captivated audiences throughout Europe and South America.

Olli Rantala, who is based in Gothenburg, has studied in Finland, Sweden and the USA. He completed a master’s degree program at the University of Gothenburg in 2012 and currently works as a music teacher in Falkenberg’s music high school. He participates regularly in various orchestral productions and has several recordings to his name.
